DJ Raaj is a recent force to be reckoned with in the Vancouver DJ scene! A transplant from the San Francisco Bay Area to the lower mainland, Raaj brings over 20 years of professional DJ experience primarily focused on weddings, corporate events, nightclubs and special events. He is also an amateur drummer and percussionist.

Raaj helped to pioneer the Bollywood nightclub scene in San Francisco in the late 90′s and garnered the reputation as one of the best Top 40/Bollywood DJ’s in the Bay Area. He has also played internationally in cities such as Auckland, Amsterdam, London, Mumbai, and Paris and many nightclub residencies In San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Raaj owned and operated Sounds Perfect Mobile DJ in California for 12 years and this helped him build an excellent work ethic centered on total client satisfaction. Raaj’s musical influences come from Disco, Funk and the early Electronic music scene. He believes in using his musical taste to create an upbeat atmosphere on the dance floor and please the crowd.
